Our Approach
Who I am
First and foremost, I am a beginner. A rookie, a novice, a noob. I have always been interested in astronomy but started going at it hard as a hobby in about 2017. In the summer of 2018 I bought my first telescope. Then a month later, I bought another one. I went to a lot of classes at my local observatory and by the fall I was a volunteer. I love looking through my telescopes and seeing objects in the sky. When I was telling my friends about what I was seeing, something was lost in translation. They kept asking to see what I was seeing. This is where the camera comes in. I wanted to show my friends and family what I was seeing. I started taking pictures in January of 2019. This blog will hopefully document my progress.
